Alexandre Gama is the Founder, Chief Creative Officer, and CEO of a top Brazilian advertising agency called Neogama. This company provides media such as motion pictures, graphic materials, sound recordings, audiovisuals and other promotional materials and services to help promote businesses as well as conducting market research.
After receiving his degree in Advertising and Communications from Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP), Alexandre Gama worked as a copywriter and creator for the New York City-based advertising, marketing and public relations agency, Ogilvy & Mather in 1982. In 1990, he became a Creative Director and Copywriter for DM9, a Brazil-based company where he became Brazil’s most awarded writing professional. In 1996, Gama was the Member of the Global Board, as well as the CCO and CEO of Young & Rubicam and Creative Executive Director and shareholder of Almap BBDO. In 1999, he started his own agency, Neogama.
Alexandre Gama received several awards, including the Caboré Award for Entrepreneur of the Year in the Communications Industry in 2007. In 2015, Neogama received the Golden Lion at Cannes for a campaign for the Mix Brasil Festival for Cultural and Sexual Diversity.
